Graduation from Pre-K (boo-hoo)

Bitter sweet.  Catalina graduated from Pre-K on Friday.  She had the same teacher for 2 years and has grown so much...academically and socially.  I can't believe she will be in kindergarten.  Catalina loves school so all day kindergarten will be good for her.  I am not sure how I am going to deal with it.  It seems like such a long time to be away from her.  Letting go can be so hard.  

The class did a little program for the parents.  Here they are singing!

They all had lines to say.  Cat & Anya said, "We loved centers.  Our favorite center was reading."

Here Catalina is receiving her Pre-K diploma.  We heard the class rankings were going to be online.

Ava will be going to the 3's program next year on Tuesday and Thursday.  Do you think she is ready?!

Summer has begun!

We have been swimming 4-5 times a week now.  The temps are above normal and the pool is finally warming up.  (The girls have been in it since March!)  

Grandma Dorothy turned 79 this past week!  Here we are singing to her..I am not sure who is having more fun...Dorothy or the girls!

READY, SET, GO!

Sorry it turned out so blurry!  We were at a friend's house and the kids were jumping off the waterfall.  There is a slide that comes around the waterfall right into the pool.  That is what we need!

Ava loved the BBQ ribs...not a speck of meat left!

The Talent Show

On Friday, Catalina was in her school's talent show.  Todd was the MC and had a lot of fun.  The kids were amazing...they played the piano, sang, solved the Rubit's Cube in less than 2 minutes, and Cat hula hooped with a cartwheel dismount.  We were so proud of her.  All of you know how shy she is so to perform in front of the school was a huge accomplishment!  She did great!
