Ava's 4th Birthday

Ava turned 4 on March 15th and we can't believe it either. Where did the time go? Wasn't it yesterday that she still took 3 naps a day and went to bed at 7pm? Didn't we just take that girl's crib down? What happened? I will tell you what happened, she grew up in a hurry and she is now 4 going on 22.

Ava definitely knows what she wants. She wanted a gymnastics party....

with an Ariel (frosting) cake...

and then a nap (wearing her Ariel goggles), cuddled in her mommy's lap.

Oh yeah, she also wanted a new Hello Kitty bike....

Ava has a way of getting what she wants. Happy 4th birthday Ava!

A Day at the Zoo

Ava and I went to the zoo (3/3/10) on a day we both had off. She loves spending the day with her mom and the day was absolutely beautiful outside. Before we left home, she was determined she was going to ride the camel. Once we reached the camel ride, she "changed her mind." She was able to talk me into buying her a big bag of cotton candy though....after we had lunch.

Ava was not afraid of the goats and loved their long beards. She pet all of them and found the brush to groom them. They were as big as her!

Finally, the merry-go-round. It's how we always end the day at the zoo.
